Do a search on DooTalk forum under short track XP performance section,
XP mtn section and the 4- stroke section.

Personally I have had only PowerBlock primarys since November 2005 on my sleds. Just put a 80 on my wifes 08 XP 600 carb last winter and I have a 8 lb PowerBlock 50 on my 600 carb mod that weighs just a bit less than 360 lbs dry with 141" X 2.25 track, works awesome. I recommend a Shockwave adjustable helix with the PowerBlock, then you have some 30 second adjustability available out on the mtn.

From what I read on the 800's you want a crank with the least amount of runout and you likely will want the ring gear. The PowerBlock's are very durable and super simple, Durability is why so many 4 - stroke guys have gone to them.

Good Luck

PS If you search LRD on the XP mtn section I have about a 20 page thread that covers quite a bit on the PoweBlock also on dootalk

The 600 HO SnowHawks had PowerBlock 50's. I bought a takeoff of one of those and put it on my little 600 carb TNT which helped get it down to 360 lbs with a 141 X 2.25 track. The 8 lb PB 50 makes a TRA feel like its trying to spin up in heavy gear lube, very slow. The PB instant throttle response!!! More like a dirt bike!!
