Power Valves question???

I have recently installed a aftermarket head, and noticed on the bottom end there is a slight hesitation as you first blip the throttle. After this last ride I did go to the blue/pink spring so my engagement will be 300 rpm higher, but I also changed to the next step up on my spring tension in power valves. I noticed a 20psi rise in each cylinder when I installed head, so figured that the power valve was opening to soon in the port, would this be a good decision or would I need to worry about other factors like timing, and exhaust temps. I am trying to keep it as stock as possible and reliable, so any information would be very helpful and appreciated, Thanks!

I made an inquiry a while ago about exhaust valve operation, see here: http://www.snowestonline.com/forum/showthread.php?t=323389

According to the info. provided the ECU keeps the exhaust valves closed until the engine reaches 6200-ish RPM by energizing the solenoid which vents the E.V. chamber so exhaust pressure can't open the valves..................So providing the E.V. solenoid(& electrical circuit) is working correctly or the solenoid vent hose isn't plugged, the exhaust valves shouldn't be opening at all on the bottom end.............
