If they don't give a dry weight they are going to likely weigh a ton.

I can't wait to get to the mtns with my old 08 XP TNT with liberal Ti parts,
Floats all the way around, and a 42 lb track of 141 X 15 X 2.25 and a dry weight of 365 lbs and looking to get it close to 350 lbs by next season.

I couldn't believe the dry weight of a particular 2014 XP 800 model of 489 lbs.
Unbelievable!!!

When your sled weighs 100 to 130 lbs less makes up for a lot of HP!!

The ONLY brand going for light weight seems to be Polaris now

DynoTech does the dynoing and weighing of sleds for the American Snowmobiler Shootout, tht is where
I saw my info. Worth the cost of subscribing if you want to beat your buddies. A recent workup on the Cat
800 they pulled 170 hp with pipe/ can/ low compression head, and tuning, NO Porting needed.

Good Luck

Start running numbers...... correct hp for altitude, add fuel etc + rider + gear. Calculate and recalculate. Will be very educational.
