Power CommanderV. Anyone with some time on one on a M1000?

I will be working late next week on maps for the non updates M1000. I have had a lot of requests for them. The 2009 map is better. Ill get pms answered today. Be patient.

Is it possible for the tuners to email new maps to customers as they update them? Can they just send me a file that I download into the pcV?

Yes the maps are files that can be emailed and installed by the customers.

I have a PCV. I have not put too many miles on yet. I built my own map just to try it out, worked ok. Just brought my sled to the dealer to get the 09 update done so I can install the map that I bought from RACINSTATION, Thanks for the tune. I will let you all know how it works.

Anything yet? Anyone else getting anymore seat time on this and some good maps? I just picked one up and have been playing with it. Seems like a really nice unit so far.

I have Racinstation's map in my 07 M1000

I would say with the stock intake the maps would be dead on.
I have a TimberSled intake so we had to tune around it.

possibly a couple of stupid questions, but hey that is what i'm good at! Are you guys still running egts or AF gages with the PV5 or is the map pretty reliable-pull the rope and go?

I have EGT's.

If you have exactly what mods the Pipe manufacturer recommends, I would say the maps are spot on.

serious question, why get this PC over the other bodeck boxes that work fine?.....does the PC box have a feedback for EGTs or O/2 or anything what gives it an advantage over the others, or is it about the user having a more tunability with access to the baseline map itself

It has more adjustibilty than the other boxes and It can be hooked direct to a O/2 sensor. And yes, you can get at the entire map.

does it simply display the O2 reading or adjust the fuel in respect to the o2 reading?

You get a good map loaded and than run the Auto Tune module to fine tune the map off of the AFR numbers.

[RACINSTATION]

For autotune, you have to input your desired air/fuel ratio at each rpm and throttle position. Then the autotune helps to fine tune your map to achieve this air/fuel ration.
