power commander V-HELP

hey guys i found a used pcV for 180 cnd so i jumped on it. im just wondering what map/settings do i put into it to get rid of my annoying top end bog....also how hard to install and approx time to install. thanks in advance its going on a 2009 assault

I have the same sled, its a 10 minute install super easy, plug it, you will need some velco to attach it to air box. There are lots of different maps out there depends on which "flash" you have in the sled!!!! If your stock and on the original updated flash. I had great luck with dynotech 157 hp map.

x2 on the stoutner 157 map.... my sled really woke up with that map!
took all of 10 minutes to install, 3 minutes to setup 0-100% throttle position, then wait 2 months to ride it ( bought mine in august last year).

you can e-mail SLP and they'll send you their map, which i hear has good results as well.

good luck, and enjoy the ride... god knows my Assault did.

Where do I get this 157hp map from. Also to set the throttle positions does it have to be running. Kinda a newb here.....saved up all my money from when I was young and bought the assault with it,17 now. You guys are a great help do I download the program on my computer to a dynojet application and plug my laptop into the pcV and then download it

Alright, for the April flash you won't be able to the run the SLP map, they don't recommend that flash. For the April one you might have to contact dynotech and get a map that jim has made or maybe someone from the site here has one.

IMO, you still need to read your state of tune with any map, I have an slp pipe and can on mine and changed their map to get my egts where they needed to be. Was working great until I bent the crank.

The Stoutner map is based off the jan14 flash, which is leaner than the April flash, so if you were to run the Stoutner map with your April flash you are more than likely gonna be to rich.
The April flash from Polaris is richest of all the flashes. That being said it's still lean in spots in the mid and rich on top.
Your gonna want to find the map to go with the April flash.
Hope this helps

PCV setup instructions can be found at Powercommander.com

Maps can be found at Dyno Tech Research, you have to be a member to download them. There is more available, contact Jim @ DTR and he will email a map to you.

Went on first ride with the PCV yesterday. Used the "Chad156" map supplied from DTR. Wow nice difference! Felt much crisper in the mid range, and pulled like a freight train up top. Totally impressed with the running quality of this machine to this point ( well only have 150km on it so far ). Now just need to get the skid sorted out and be a happy chappy!

I emailed and called, finally got a response and they emailed right away. Took a few days of trying to contact them but it was during the work week and understandably they are in the busy time of year so no biggie.
As mentioned before, she ran like a champ the whole day, very happy with the results!
G.
