Power Claw vs. Camo Extreme on TM1000

I know there has been lots of discussion on the PC vs. the CE, but I haven't read anything specifically related to durability on turbos. I am wondering if a PC is going to hold up on a TM1000 running up to 10 lbs. boost.

I got two sleds, turbo has a cam X and the stocker has the P-claw

Camo X:
- stiff as hell when new, never folds even on 16lbs of boost
- breaks when coming down hill just fine
- its heavy
- will trench like a mofo in some suger

P-Claw:
- great light stock track, grips and rips:beer;
- will break down and fold after a few hundred bif boost miles
- waaaaay too fast coming down a hill, i totally hate this
- be very very careful when if you use a propane torch to burn off the loose threads from the track edge, you can walk away and the track will just keep burning, i dump water on the track afterward:beer;

Started with the power claw on a 1000 T, worked nice in powder but sucked on everything else, it would spin like crazy. Had about 200 miles on it then switched to extreme, hooks up great, heavier, on perfect powder days not as good as the pc but dont get to ride on to many of those days. The extreme takes a beating!

any turbo camo x ported?

i have a ported 156 camo x on my mod viper and love it. i was thinking of doing my 156 camo x m- 8 RG BD turbo. Anybody think thats a bad or good?

Any thats why I'm on my second powerclaw. My first one held up great ( untill the above happend) My second one is falling apart

Sounds like the PC might perform a little better (especially in the MT fluff), but the durability is questionable. I guess I have to decide what is more important.....performance and light weight, or guaranteed durability.

for my kind of riding, PC. seen plenty of them hold up even on big boost apex's. We don't climb to many shoots though, But if you hit something under boost I think it would do more damage than on a CE

powerclaw all the way man!! i would take that track over any other in my opinion if ur climbing or boondocking in the trees its great, i love it!

Do you have boost? I have no doubt the PC works awesome, but I do have doubts about how long it will hold up to a boosted M1000. I have heard rumors that this years Claws are tougher than last years. I wonder if there is any truth to that.

I'll take power claw

I am on my second year with power claw on a tm1200, normal fraying on side of track other wise no problems, always climbing.my buddy with same sled just switched to camoplast extreme and was hating it in the powder compared to me, trenches bad, he want's his power claw back ,to bad he sold it.

I would say the CE should hold up better, put I doubt the PC would have problems as long as you don't hit something. The CE is a stiff snow track,

I have about 1000 miles on the Claw on an TM8 at 12 lbs , and the track still looks new . Last weekend i was skinning trees with a stock M1000 and i was sure my PC was going to be missing lugs or be ripped . And it still looks new , this track is sweet .

I cant wait to try it on 12 lbs on the M1 . Next season we will have a CE 162 and a PC162 on TM1's running side by side . The guy who bought the Camo Extreme is already wishing he would of bought the claw.

Tracks

I have a M1000 on boost and have over 1400 miles on the PC and have no complaints with it no missing lugs. Just ordered a CE from Tracks USA. To try at the BIG IRON SHOOTOUT. So I will have a good opinion when I get back. But I am not going to sell the PC just in case.
