power claw issues

got the power claw on a nytro and after about 500 miles, tons of track clips are gone, and the lugs are all folded the wrong way(not the finger ones, they're good). anyone else having the same thing?

sounds like a maverick.....or sounds like it need to be put on backwards, that should straighten out the lugs.

ummm, the track came from the factory with the blades tipped back...I have same or more miles on mine, and other than the fraying on the sides the track looks new...

sounds like a defective track or it was somehow installed wrong. Talk to whereever you bought it from and they will probably warranty it.

Is the nytro on boost? I've herd of boosted nytros havvin issues with the powerclaw being there just a single ply track and the weight and power of a nytro.....

Is this an issue where you need an anti-stab kit? Can't remember if it was on SW or TY, but someone posted that the 3.0 pitch tracks had a tendancy to wrap around the drivers too far and cause the clips to catch on the rail tips and bad things were happening.

Sorry, I don't have the answer, but wondering the same thing. MT, does this theory hold water?

yeah i have a s/c on the sled, was wondering if the extra power would cause these problems, but i hoped the track would hold up a bit better. oh well, might have to go back to the ever reliable camo.

well, I am 10lbs. of boost...and no issues at all with my track...looks the same as when I bought it...

all clips are still on...

yeah, I have an anti stab kit, but that would have nothing to do with the track folding...

are the fingers pointing toward the front of the sled? and the paddles laid back on the first 1/4-1/2 inch? if so, that is normal...it is how they were designed...

shoot us a picture of it...

herby,

It just dawned on me. The Powerclaw is only clipped every other bar, alternating from one side to the other. This isn't what you are seeing is it?

scmurs

no, i'm missing a whole bunch of clips on both sides. i think there's about 12 or 13 windows open in a row on the left side, not as many gone on the right, but still too many. just have the stock extroverts on, and running about 230 hp. guess i'll have to get some clips to make the rest of the year.

as i posted before the 3.0 tracks need a anti stab the extros hang on to the track and flip them up into the rail tips and when they hit they get flat on one side and open on the other side and then fall off. I have been down this road and so has a buddy of mine who laughed at me when mine did it and then his did it just after!
