powderlites stage 2 nytro clutching

i just cant seem to get anymore then 7900 rpm. i have the powderlites clutch kit with shockwave helix. i can turn it clockwise and it does seem to make a difference??

What are you pulling for Boost? I can't get anymore either. I also talked with another guy at West today with the exact same problem running the same setup.

Maybe its the shockwave. I run the Ulmer kit with supertips and run 88-8900 consistantly all day at 10 pounds boost.But you might be too heavy on the weight possibly.Do revs come up with boost?

Mine was the same in Revvy last weekend 7900 RPM set your seconday too 3-0 and a half turn out on the shockwave ,, initially Dave said to set it at 1 and 0...
Havent tried it yet..

yes does not seem to matter what i do with shockwave can not get more out of it. i had it at ten pounds ten turned it to twelve just to see.. did not matter

1000 rpms is a long way to go with the secondary/helix. I'd take out some primary weight. What weights are you running in the primary?

just the wieghts that it came with the kit i am not exactly sure

was tinkering around with it and 3-1 worked the best at 12 pounds i saw 8700 rpm at 12 pounds with the shockwave turned in all the way and backed off about 3/4 of a turn
