My apex is gunna go under the wrench this summer and will be getting some un-natural asperation. I was really looking at the BD sidemount setup and maybe even try running the RB3 controller. Not really looking for all out high HP (under 300) but want as much bottom end that I can get and dont mind sacrificing to much high end HP to do it either. The poderlites kit looks good, comes complete with basically everything. His cam setup looks impressive along with the header design. I also really like the vairiable timing control at diffrent rpm's and boost levels along with the stutter/launch button with the RB3. Dont like the new gas tank thing though from whats been posted lately with aftermarket tanks. Just lookin for some feedback on what the masses here feel about it! TIA!!

Do yourself a favour call Dave. We have run over7000miles on his apex kit, with very little trouble. I think Dave is the best in the business now, especially for honesty and integrity. As for the tanks its not an issue we can get 100miles on a tank if you ride with the group if you hammer it 60-75 tops. Powder Lites have some killer stuff and really neat things coming. Oh one other thing Daves headers have stood the test of time with the 7000 miles one header the original. She keeps on going Dave. It was a proto experiment that worked.

also what about running the RB3 with another brand turbo kit, anyone make the switch??

Working on the RB3 for my BD apex.

I am working on the RB3 for my BD apex, I will let you know how it turns out. The powderlites fuel cell holds approx. 33-34 litres unlike the stockers 40. sounds petty, but on big snow days, you will need all of the extra 5 gallons. on harder snow days, you will probably only need half of that. Dave can set you up with everything from the clutching to the fuel controller to the head shim/cam timing to the technical know how to make it rip. He answers the phone and calls you back. The QC on everything I have bought has been top notch. Have heard many good things about impulse, but they are simply too far away(geographically) for me. JMHO

I keep hearin that daves customer service is top notch! And his willingness to help with other kits just says that he's not bashing other setups out there just wanting to help us get the best outta our toys! I havent talked to him yet on the phone but a call is in order!

I Rode The mod ride last weekend I runs super nice I am going to buy.

Glad to hear the RB3 seems to be working good. Plan on doing the PL kit on my apex this summer!

I have a nytro with a P{owder Lites turbo with the new RB3 it is amazing how much better it starts runs and the throttle response is sick. I couldnt figure why I had such a bad headache the last day I rode until in the evening in the motel room we realized that my neck was sore from the quick snap on throttle skis up straight speedo goes up as fast as tach does. The cool thing is you can add or subtract timing and get new mapping via the internet with a 30 dollar usb cord from Powder Lites so as they learn and research more we get more. No charge for Daves time doing this he is awesome guy with customer service. He also has new projects on the go that are going to set the bar very high for the competition. 298 horse from 13 lbs of boost on pump premium gas keep it coming Dave as we require more power you keep finding it.

had some issues earlier this year regarding sled /header,but dave and hino are stand up guys at powderlites. They could of told me too bad, but they worked w me and went out of their way to make my sled rock.no question, call them, goodluck!!

I run a powder lights stage two on my nytro. I installed it myself and have had no problems. I love it. I make my riding partner with a t-Apex look bad running at the same boost!!! Dave's the man!!!!
