POWDER: when does it get to be to much

Too much powder is when you can barely climb a hill that can normally be taken by a fan-cooled short track...........then get stuck coming down the hill because so much is piled in front of ya!!!!!

well i must say most of you guys havent experienced to much pow then

Oh yeah I have.
I have had ice problems in the carbs...etc.

This was what we looked like on New Years eve this year. It was fuggin AWESOME. Just carried 2 extra pairs of gloves. Let the goggles thaw every 15 to 20 while we dug someone out. We were diggin someone out (one of the 3 of us) every 15 to 20 mins. It was awesome. For the whole day it was awesome.

you must like digging? i guess to each his own

There is no such thing as too much powder. There is such thing as not enough track, not enough power, and not enough energy to deal with those who do not have the above forementioned niceties that allow us to enjoy the fluff.

Hard to go if you can't breath or see...but FUN! Here are some Norweigens in the deep and fluffy of the great NW last week.

if you step off your sled and you sink in over your head, thats too much powder...

other than that its game on and dont get off your sled! :D ride the deep!!!

haha AMEN!!! thats what sleddins about riding the steep and deep!! nicely said phatty.. Phatty you need to come up to Logan(Cache Valley) for a ride the next time we get dumped on.. was out there saturday through monday.. monday was insane very deep.

To much pow???

I've ridden the colorado rockies for over 10yrs now and still don't think there was ever too much pow!! Tape the flipper to the bar and lean into it don't ever let up till your sleds going downhill. Try and lay some tracks for the less experienced before they follow you into your play areas this way they might not get stuck...3ft plus is a great day! Carry 2-3 sets of gloves a good shovel extra water and goggles. If it wasn't for the deep pow I would give up snowmobiling all together. Snowmobiling sucks without the pow!!!

There was this one day when I passed the groomer only to get stuck 1 mile later on the trail. That day we were riding under the snow not on top what an epic day. He came by and plowed us out laughing his a$$ off. Still wasn't too much pow.

Cheers everyone!
