Rode north gravel Mtn today up to 10,400 only 5-6" of new snow, Still killer base for May 12th
Nice, the 'Man' is sucking out my bone marrow and you go sledding. I think I miss the life and times of ManBearPig. Is it bad that I'm evaluating the cost/benefit of selling the turbo so I can get a Mini-Van? I think my man card just got re-voked with that statement. Where is turbo Frank and the Don Julio when I need a friend?

I feel your pain man, I'd be working if the feakin' sun would come out! looked like January up there today, cold, snowy and blowing hard! Mike Duffy came out to see the ranch, he's going to do some avy classes at Vagabond next year.

here is the video when we were trying to run that chute and turned around. i was too puckered up to f' with the cam above the tree line. too worried about staying on the 6 oclock of the guy in front of me but it was obviously alot worse than this....

Stupid question time, sorry guys,,it's a story I heard from a friend years ago and I have no idea if it's true.
I saw all you Jones Pass ridders, Is there a trail or just boondocking a way to get from Jones pass area over to winter park?? I probably should just go look at goodle earth,,but thought i'd ask. All my years ridding never rode Jp....

No. There is wilderness in between the two. In reality it would be easy to do, as st luis creek is just down the ridge, but just not legally.
If you took the pass over, then went down into that basin & around the back, you COULD do it, but the wind blows that aspect pretty clean, so not very doable unless we happen to have a decent windless storm.

i am monitoring high country conditions from newark NJ (long story) and it looks like i will be back just in time for some freshies this w/e. as long as gilpin county little league gets canceled, i will be making some fresh tracks!
