04' 1M, I was going to powder coat the a-arms and spindles on my sled. But was wondering if the spindles come apart? It doesn't look like they do..? What have you guys done to get them ready for coating?

I would agree that it doesnt look like they come apart but i have coated several of the 09-10 spindles that do not come apart and it can be done. For the prep take out your grease zert and use brake cleaner to get out as much of the grease as possible and then have your powdercoater bake them in his oven before they are sandblasted to get the remaining grease out. plug hole for grease zert and paint. regrease after painting and enjoy
