I am thinking about having some parts on my sled powder coated. I have never had anything powder coated, so I have no idea how much it costs. Can anyone give me an estimate on how much it costs to have slide rails or a-arms and spindles powder coated? Have to decide if the bling is worth it. Thanks.

MT coating over in belgrade would be about 75-100 bucks for all those im guessing.

what rails do you wanna do and what color? stock cat ones are trash metal and coating weakens them even more.

Are you talking about Powder Coating of MT? That is who I was thinking about going with, but I emailed them and was told, "We are no longer in business."

The rails I want to do are a set of Kmod Ice Age and I was thinking black or orange. I didn't realize that powder coating would weaken them. Is that true of the Ice Age rails and front suspension pieces too?

Any recommendations on a powder coater in Bozeman?

I have had a local shop powder coat a couple sets of my Cat rails and never had a problem with durability. I have found powder coating pretty reasonable. Get a buddy or two to throw in some parts to split the costs!

Upper a arms - green
lower a arms - blue
spindles, seat support, bumpers, and rear skid cross bar - black
Total $300
