I have to replace my track on my 09 m1000 153, what do you think about replacing it with the hcr track or would I be better off staying with what I have ?

Thanks in advance

Just a quick clarification. Your 09 came with an 80 durometer PowerClaw. The HCR comes with a 90 durometer PowerClaw.

I'm sure you'd be happy with either but, if I had to replace a track, I'd go with the HCR 90 durometer.

Up in BC I;m sure you get some pretty hard snow come spring with all the moisture you receive in the snow. (Not as dry of snow as we see in Colorado)

That harder track may come in handy when climbing some of those "harder & glazed" hills.

IMO.

I have the harder track and it does hook very well in the harder snow but if you ride in powder it is the worst trenching track i have ever seen, but I do not know what kind of snow you have their. just my .02

I say go for the 80 it will perform everywhere is a little softer so you will be easier for your sled to spin it and it still performs great in hardpack but doesnt give up performance in the deep!

duro 90 is soft enough

This track works great and is not that stiff and do not have trenching problems any worst than others honestly does not seem much different then the 80 duros I ride with. It does fold over a little bit.Once sled is up to speed it stays up on top of snow excellent.....powerclaw in either will be great..we ride the seirra's and get all conditions from champange pow to sierra cement.Has not let me down yet....JMO:D

x2... I ride an HCR in Utah pow and am not having any problems with trenching and weigh in over 220 with gear. Great floating track.
