Posting Pics and making them show up

I know this has been covered before but I have searched and couldn't find a good solution.

How do you post pics and have them show up. I know you can upload but first you have to shrink down the jpgs which is a pain.

I am doing the photo bucket thing now but my photos show up as a hyperlink and not as a photo (or thumbnail).

Lets make this the post people can find when they search and get the answers here. I am sure there are some other computer dumb#$%@ out there like me that need some advice.

All you have to do is click on the "insert image" icon:

Then insert the photobucket link and it will show up

right click on the IMG CODE on the photobucket picture you want and copy, then just paste it on the post, and it will look like this

Have the image address in between these two bracketed HTML codes:

[ i m g ] ( image address here) [/ i m g ]

(You'll need to take out the spaces that I put it there... It won't show it up on here as text unless I put those spaces in there..it tries to actually read it as HTML code.)
