Post your Team Xp set up for Mountain use

Good Luck with the TEAM

I went through the same question a while ago. There are some ideas out there but they but be prepared to spend some money for every suggestion you try. I had a few of them and tried 2 setups. One gave me good throttle response at low throttle but hunted so bad under load it would drop 800 RPM. The second one I tried had absolutly no responsive power until wide open but would then handle the load and not drop RPM. I then went to the stock secondary and the sled worked great. Held RPM underload, crisp response etc. After running stock for the weekend Team finally got back to me (1 week and 1/2 later) and told me I had to change my primary ramps, weights etc. to make the secondary work. I had already changed my spring, weights and rollers. I told them that the primary worked great and I wanted to know what to do with secondary. They had no answer. The best calibration I did to the TEAM was remove it. Good luck with your quest for an answer.

set up

Just rec'd mine

Primary
160/260 spring
415 ramps with 12mm set screw

Secondary
48/42 .33 helix 48/44 .33 helix
160/240 spring

Right now I have it set up with 48/42 helix and want to try a 140/240 spring in the secondary. The black/purple seems to stiff. I am running in clicker 4

Track speed?

Doo-ski, What kind of track speeds are you seeing when climbing in powder as a top speed on the guage?

Last time out, I could only get 47 mph whereas before with the QRS I was hitting 50-53 pretty regular.....
running stock primary spring, 18 grams pin weight, red/green secondary spring.

track speed

right now in the mid 40's, I will try different secondary spring and post results this week.

As far as I can tell, from the race manual, the 415 ramps are the same as the stock 413's? I just photocopied, cut out and layed one over the other.

I am using 414 ramps with 26 mm of weight, (stock 12 +8mm +6mm)blue/yellow spring(very light) and stock secondary. Works great. Sorry no Team here.

Set Up

After some helix changes, I found out that I need more pin weight. Will try to add more weight and post settings. Getting more track speed in #1 that I was In #4. I hate being a test dummy.
