It's kinda like the answer of why we have them in the first place. If we have to explain it you wouldn't understand. Besides, I bought mine through an FFL and is registered. If someone came for it, It sold.
I'll play, not a very good one, also time to slay some Coyotes with it. Good thing all the guys on Gunbroker do not worry about posting pictures, I would hate not to see pictures of a firearm I was interested in buying. They are legal you know. Good looking rifles in this thread! Take care...Jeff

I made a slight change since these pics. I removed the rear flip up iron sight and the riser rail under the scope and mounted it directly to the upper receiver rail.

I have quite an arsenal now and if anyone ever got the idea of taking it they might well do good to understand the reason I have it and that I will use it if necessary. I have had people try to take the M-16 in this photo from me, I am now sitting here typing, any guesses as to who won.

I prefer a bit longer barrel than say the carbine M-4 style. Your more apt to get full burn with a longer barrel thus increasing velocity of your bullet. I spent alot of time researching mine. I was looking at something with a 16 inch barrel and saw that the velocity at the barrel was less than 200fps than a 20 inch. I plugged in the balistic information and compared the difference of the bullet drop from center and it was enough for me to stick with a 20 inch. I hunt with mine and that is why I went with a heavy barrel, non-fluted 20. But I also wanted it to look cool to me so I didn't go with a bull barrel.

Sorry, non-owned weapons don't count on an AR Post. But if your whippin out govt military hardware. I'll see your Mark 19 and see you with a MLRS with 1, 6 pack conventional cluster munitions and 1 nuclear tipped ATACM missile.
i took every last one my firearms fishing with me.....damn things fell overboard in the middle of the lake.......what lake was that agian?? Damned if I can remember........
