Right now NWS predicting up to a foot @ 7000 feet.

Storm is a southern storm.

Aledgedly April may bring biggest rain/snow of the calendar year.

Out of town till 28 March so no updates.

Bright and sunny so far, was hopeing for something to fall today or tonight but I don't think it will happen.

They (Nat'l Weather Service) are still saying at least 1/2 rain with 6 inches srating at 6500-7000 feet predicted for Sacramento and then east up thru Truckee.

South of Tahoe the snow levels increase 1000 - 2000 feet. So Mammoth is gonna be high since the moisture is warm ... 7500-8500 feet plus. The moisture is coming from Baja so very warm.

The low pressure bringing this storm is off San Fran as I write this and coming onto land.

California Regional weather service out of San Fran saying 1.2 inches around Truckee which will easily be over a foot ! 1.6 inches around Eureka !
