Positive outcomes

Well had myself one of those "reflecting" days i guess you could call it. Maybe i was bored or somethin, but I found myself thinkin back on lots o things. I realized lots of crap happens to everyone, but somethin good tends to come out alot of the time. so heres one i thought up to get things going

my mom had cancer when i was younger. i remember it really well. her living at the hospital, dad living with her as much as he could, my siblings and I lving with other great family for long stretches. anyway, what seemed imposible then has now been resolved. cancer all gone, and because of all that you couldn't tear our family apart. so i supose thats a postive outcome.

on a lighter note, due to a shoulder surgery and not being able to to much work over the summer i lost around 10 lbs. less weight=more hp right?? :D something like that.

anyways..lets hear some others

My husband died over 5 years ago. As a result, I got intoroduced to snowmobiling, Snowest and some truly incredible friends. The likes of which I probably would have never met. Same with the area I moved: Met some amazing friends there too.

None would have happened if he hadn't died. Don't get me wrong, I'd give it up to have him back. But you've got to find the beauty in ashes!

My girlfriend just beat Leukemia (ALL) and is finally in remission after about 2 ½ years. My father just beat esophageal cancer only two months ago! A very good friend of mine years ago had cancer pop up in three different areas at the same time and he beat that as well.

Wired1 - I'm sorry for your loss! I lost my wife tragically and know how bad it feels.

I hear ya, cookie, Mom had cancer when I was 3 or 4 grade, cause of the surgerys she couldnt lift or have her arms above waist level. Made us kids learn how to cook clean and do all the things she did for us. Didn't think much of it till I was a lil older and moved out but it made me very self sefficient (sp?) and able to live on my own.
Sometimes when life gives ya lemons you just gota make lemonade.
BTW we are still waiting on the Suite pics:D Im back in that neck of the woods and I m on the lookout!

bubba sounds like you had it a little worse off than i did, glad things are good now for ya.
