Porting and turbos

Just looking for some info with guys running turbos and if anyone has done some sort of porting . I have a 2012 800 switchback which is turboed and I run it at 1000ft , mostly river and trail riding. I don't find that the cfi has the get up and go that my 800 carb sleds have. So I'm wondering would trail porting give me the little extra out of the hole. It's not the turbo making it slow out of the hole I compared my sled stock and with the turbo against my 2004 pro xr and the pro xr is all over my sled till 50mph. What would be the advantages and disadvantages of porting on a turboed sled?

Porting will make more hp throughout. Think of it this way, you gain 10HP with a good port setup naturally aspirated and multiply it by boost= more hp per pound of boost. I think its in your clutching, call me when you get a minute. I'll set you on the right path.

We are currently running a ported turbo thats pulling 3 gram bigger weights than the same setup that is not ported!

Call Curt at fastrax, 253 848 0908.

He can explain their turbo porting and how it helps the low end.
