hey guys i am looking to put a rg ovs tial turbo on my 09 m1000 the motor currently has ported clyinders and the ported case with h/c head! im wondering if i can just through a stock head back on it and run the boost or if i should try and get the motor back to all stock? will the porting just end up giving me headaches? will it bring me much more power with the porting? thoughts? i wanna run about 10 lbs i think if that matters? thanks

changed my kit to a push?

hey changed my kit to a push rg turbo so im still a little lost on wether i can use these ported cylinders i talked to kevin at mms he said try and ditch them but im finding that to be a little dificult does anyone else have any thoughts on running these they were ported by bmp for 91 octane fuel!

Im working on building my twisted m1000 rg, just got cylinders back from Shain and the bases were cut down some, (lowered port timing). If you know what bmp did you might be able to use them still? My stock head domes were cut out and re-shaped as well, so you would think that you could reuse your current head with some machining by someone that knows what their doing.:face-icon-small-dis

Call Jeff at Dakota Performance he would be the one to talk to.. He ports some of his 1000 turbos he builds. 701-452-4212 You can get the turbo kit from him too if you don't have one yet.
