Popping or backfiring?

I'm not sure if this is normal but while riding my new (09)XTX in deep powder and some WOT on trails my sled started popping and the deceleration (coasting) appeared to be harder than the norm. I'm beaking it in still, it only has a 190 km's on her. It seamed to start after some heavy powder riding and hitting the trails while dumping off the WOT. I haven't run it since then but I was wondering if maybe they're prone to snow build up in the airbox or what? The only mod is a MBRP can. It wasn't loud like real backfires just a couple of really good pops now and then. If I feather it down it won't do it. any ideas or answers would greatly help relieve my anxiety.

Rev limiter? Water in the fuel? couple of things to think about.

Mine does the same thing. Not all the time just every once in a while and its just kind of a minor pop on de-acceleration. I have a Hauck Husher, Ulmer K&N intake and a PCV with Ulmers program for intake/can but this program was tested with a MBRP I believe and not the Hauck.
