2001 800x will not idle on both cylinders under 3000 rmp the mag side is the problem ,above 3000 rmp has crisp throttle response on both cylinders and the spark plugs are a faint redish brown color, installed new reeds and still no luck ,any suggestions .

when was the last time you went through your carbs?
few days back ,was idleing poor before that ,
How did the reed cages look??? They are known for delaminating, then the reeds can't seal.
check the plugs? coil..
