poor bottom end on my M7 ?

i picked up an 05 from a guy this winter, and aside from stock it has jaws twins, and a two wheel kit. now my friend has the exact same sled as me but he is running a stock pipe with mbrp can and boondocker box, and i find his sled has significantly more bottom end power then mine. i wouldnt say my sled bogs but it definitly runs a little off low down. so i have limeted the reasoning for this to either i need a fuel control box or my clutching is off. i have changed the spark plugs and the commpression is fine. by the way i am running different spring rates then my friend, im running a red spring on the driven and a yellow on the drive. i litteraly know nothing about clutching so i have no idea what these springs mean, hopefully someone more knoledgable can chime in. thanks for any input.

oh...really important for you as well is to make sure your belt deflection is good...adjustment is in your manual

I hear the twins are hard to dial in on the m7. Borrow your friends boondocker box and see if you can tune them in. Or just borrow his single for a run or two and see if that changes anything.

Also like m8magic said; clutching is key on the m7, maybe try his setup. I personally kinda like the stock orange/white in the primary and white spring in the secondary.

what exactly is belt deflection? im assuming has something to do with how much play the belt has. sorry this is just my first season riding and im trying to cram as much info in my head as possible. ill take a gander at the manual though. i still have the belt the guy i got it from had on it from the previous season, anyone think i would have any luck with poppin in a new belt? probably wont be a fix all end all but if it helps a bit i may aswell.

u need a control box to run twins no question thats ur problem and it may need to be clutched check to see what u got it will probably pull more weight than stock and u may just need change the setting on ur sec spring

belt deflection in manual...just a gist....put a staight edge between your secondary and primary on top of belt...inbetween the clutches push down on belt with a ruler on end....when you see the belt flex upward between the clutches on the UNDERSIDE then look to see the distance between the straight edge and how far you are pushing with the ruler...you should be approx 1in1/4 ...generally your belt rides 1/8 of an inch above the secondary sheaves...but deflection is more important...bad deflection causes bad initial bog...!!!..you adjust with the secondary adjustment
