Pontoon boat lifts

What do you have for a pontoon/engine package?

What body of water are you on?
Water level fluctuation?
Fresh water?
Any current?
Wind vulnerability?
Shoreline? (ease of install & removal)

I am way too far away to sell you one, but if you would like to give me a call I would be happy to discuss your situation & needs.

With no water level fluctuation, you do not need a vertical lift, I go cantilever style.

If you were local here is what I would try to sell you...

3600# cantilever with a pontoon rack kit, canopy & 110v direct drive if 110v is readily available, 12V otherwise.

26'-27' canopy should give adequate protection without too much wind vulnerability.

One note....
Do not remove boat from lift for long periods (over night) without removing the canvas from canopy frame.

Murphy's law is that you WILL have high winds when lift is left with no boat in it, and with the canvas on it, it is simply a kite.

Point taken! That does make sense that wind could possibly blow the lift away.

Solar power is probably the way we will go to power the lift

I have looked into sea-legs. They are 5g cheaper than the lift up here. We travel 8miles across the lake and spend the day, so the sea-legs are convenient.

The old man likes the idea of being able to pull up to the lift and lift up into the cover without having to tarp the pontoon every night. Hes not getting any younger, easier the better for him

That is why we sell lifts over hydraulic legs over 10 to 1

A solar panel will maintain your 12V battery

You should be able to get a 3600# cantilever, 12V, canopy & pontoon rack for under $8,000
We sell Sea Legs for $6,000 installed

Happy boating!

US? or Canada?

Our lifts are manufactured less than 200 miles away, so I would assume our destination expense is lower, but that is quite a bit.

There must be some apples to oranges comparing going on.

For what it's worth, I quoted a Hewitt brand catelever cable lift at retail.

Perhaps you are being priced a hydraulic lift?

Hahaha, I got a story for ya.....

I really rich lakehome owner after a big wind reported to the Sheriffs office that his lift was stolen right off his shoreline. We knew where this owner lived on the lake, and the next summer started using sonar to locate it. It took the whole summer and the next spring to finally find it. We sent down a camera, and sure as heck, the lift was on its side, with the canvas still on in about 35 feet of water.

By then the owner settled with the insurance company and had a new lift. We approached the owner and he said we could have it if we could recover it.

I used my scuba gear and attached a few truck tire tubes to the frame, and with a air compressor and long hose from the pontoon boat, I filled up the tubes, and floated a beautiful Floe vertical lift over to our dock. Ended up selling to someone else on the lake for a quick $1,500.........

Yep, these things will get ripped right of fthe shoreline without a boat/pontoon in them if there is a canopy.
