What do you all know about polio? I'm guessing some of the older forum members may have a little more knowledge and/or maybe even some personal experience with it.
My girlfriend is embarking on a wild summer of endurance racing to raise money for her Rotary club and Rotary's mission to eradicate polio. Part of what she is doing is blogging about her events and peoples experiences with polio. So if you happen to have a story of some sort let me know.
We are finding there is a general lack of understanding about it in today's generation. This includes me. Until she started doing this I was generally clueless about it.
