Polaris. You Got What You Deserve.

Nice job several years ago moving our jobs building the RZR in Mexico. All I can say is I am glad my snowmobiles and ATVs are made here. I would love to hear what their stock holders have to say. I already know what the customer is saying.

Is one related to the other? I thought the recalls were design issues?

Or are you just thinking on the karma side of things?

I'm not sure where the problems are. When they announced the move to Mexico the CEO said they moved because it was closer to market demand areas. Then I think the Governor of Texas asked then why not build here then? It's just bull. They get around $24,000 for a RZR 1000 turbo that's made most of the time in Mexico. My brand new 2015 Ford Fusion with all the bells and whistles was union made in Flat Rock Michigan. I paid $19,200 for that car. And as you know we have had China dumping steel here for years which kills our mining jobs. I guess I'm just tired of it. $.02

Being a fabricator by trade; imported metal sucks! It's like they are relearning everything that 200 years of American ingenuity had figured out to make it a pleasure to work with. Now we are back to fighting all the same issues all over again, sure the material is cheaper but it takes longer to make anything from it because it's not homogenous, has chunks of carbide and other contaminants that destroy saw blades and other tooling. In short; when all is said and done it is actually more expensive and far lower quality. Thank the G-ment for forcing US steel and other American metal producers to close up shop.

Sorry for the tangent!

I agree with your tangent.
The other day I was shopping for two rubber air hoses. 3/8"x50' Menards had them on sale for $18. Made in India. Northern tool had them on sale for $15. Goodyear, made in the USA. Kinda surprised really. Northern Tool is famous for Chinese crap! It's sad we import from countries that would love to wipe us off the planet if they could.
