Polaris Survey

I received a survey this morning in regards to my 850 snowcheck.

I would encourage anyone else who receives it to fill it and be sure to explain any issues you have had in detail and well as express concerns about reliability. Clearly there are issues with crank bearings, oil lines, no starts, and bogs that should be addressed. It needs to be made clear by the customer that something should be done. If you are in here complaining about issues of any sort BE SURE to let Polaris know as well.

But what if you haven't had any of the issues you've described? Mine has always started first or second pull, purrs like a kitten til the flipper gets smashed, then rips like crazy.
Original belt/plugs from day one, Oil lines all in place, no bogs... So I filled out what has been my experience, with 7.5 hours on the clock (weather here sucks for riding, good for golf..)

With 7.5 hours you haven't even made it around the block. With that being said we haven't had any problems with our two 850's at 240 & 335 miles and some deep days with long steep pulls.
I am highly concerned about reliability and with the problems others are having
I sweat it anytime we drop into areas that no tow out is possible, leaving a sled and getting a chopper would be a bummer and depending on the conditions doubling out would be no easy chore either.
These fears will only ease as more people get hard mountain miles on these sleds without major problems. I hope Polaris is listening as this sled was marketed as super reliable.

Received mine today. Made sure to fill it out accurately and made mention of Polaris' poor communication of delivery delays. Issues I have had and two trips to dealer without resolution. Also mentioned that the perception is now that the sled is less than reliable. That combined with poor winter in many areas should entitle snowcheck purchasers an additional year of bumper to bumper warranty or golden ticket towards an as promised 2020. Deaf ears, I know.

I also received mine and filled it out this morning. With over 550 miles on her and running very strong with no hitches so far at all. I don't want to be blind but I'm starting to feel better about my 850 engine lasting. Fingers an toes crossed and on to Island Park I go for the form rides. Good times ahead. Got to think positive...

Then tell them exactly that :) I'm SUPER happy with how good mine runs and how much better of an all around sled it is than my 2017, and I let them know that... But I have also had some dumb little issues that should have been addressed from the factory. I also think they need to come out with a reflash, clearly some issues with bogging and fouling plugs.

Based on some of the questions I think they know there are issues and know that 850 owners are nervous. It was just interesting... a much different survey than I have ever gotten from them.
