Just thought I would post the link for the polaris vin check. There have been several people who have contacted me that picked up a used 2011 and thought they had another year on the warranty and did not. This will let you check a few things including your warranty and if you have any recalls.

Strange, I have got 3 or 4 notice in the mail that my warranty was all most up, have called my dealer each time and he would check and said I have the four year warranty, he told me to just throw them away. Checked this one on here with my vin and it says my warranty is up ? will call my dealer on Tue.

I've had my 2012 for 2 months and my VIN doesn't even come up. I was starting to wonder if the dealer registered it correctly since I haven't received my PolariStar warranty card yet.

Guess I'll call Polaris tomorrow and see what's up.

I think there is allot of confusion about the warranty's. I came across this Vin check and it showed my warranty was out 10 days after i bought the sled (a used 2011 assault) that is what made me ask my dealer to check on it. They said the same thing that allot of people are saying on here "That it is only showing the bumper to bumper warranty, and it has another year powertrain". When I asked them to show me in writing that it had the second year they couldn't and sure enough I only had a 1yr warranty. At least the one year wasn't up until tuesday the 22nd and I had the opportunity to extend $$$ .

On my bill of sale, it states I have a 3 yr warranty, but when I did this VIN check it says warranty expires on 11/19/12. I guess I'll talk to my dealer. Thanks for the link.

Running the VIN on my 12 Pro it shows that it expires on Aug 29th 2012. However the papers I received from Polaristar states that it expires on Aug 29 2015. Correct me if I am wrong but isnt the warranty through a Third party after the first year which would explain why it shows only 1 year on most that have searched their vin number? I'm not too worried about it, Polaris made a good sled, I have a good dealer and papers saying it goes to 2015 and my first ride is gonna be on Wednesday.

gotta remember that if you get over the 1 year warranty i believe that it is through a different company not polaris. i could be wrong but this is how i remembered it.

When I bought my sled I called and had a vin check. They said I had one year through Polaris and 3 additional years through aftermarket. The vin check on this site shows my factory warranty is up and under the aftermarket line it says N. What does that mean?

So I purchased my sled used and was told it had 4 year deal on it. I just found this and looked and it expired on 10-15-11...... So my question is, how do I check with this 3rd party holder to see if I have anything. Little down about this as that was part of the reason that I got this PRO was it had 3 years left. My bad for not checking it out better but I was under the impression they all came with the 4 year deal.....

only the snowchecked sleds came with a 4 year, the non snowchecks came with a 1 year bumper to bumper and a second year of motor only coverage with a $50 deductible.

When I look at that page it says something about snow-11. Does that mean that it was snow-checked?
