Polaris scratchers fix.

Don't you hate it when your new Polaris scratchers deploy when you don't need them? The supplied holders don't work at all. Simple fix with epoxy stick and a 7/16 inch long tapered bolt embedded. For a great fit, once the epoxy starts to cure, coat the scratcher end with grease and imprint your resting spot.

Sand it and paint it. No holes, lightweight and inobstrusive

Heavy duty nylon zip ties work great. Like the ones they use for restraints. This is actually what ice age recommends when you install them on their rails. No need for glue.

I'll stick with the heavy duty black zip tie that you don't see and works just fine.

Ran the zip ties for a couple years but holding the scratcher with one frozen hand and positioning the zip tie with the other is no fun and yes the scratcher is not secured in 100% of the time, does fall off.

Why would you need to "position" the zip tie with one hand, while holding the scratcher??? Just place it right, zip it down tight and presto the scratcher gets hung up on the zip tie or my case a double set of zip ties butted up against each other.

Couple of years...I thought the issue started with the 24' updated scratchers?
