I just got a black seat off a 2010 SB from an HCS member to use on my 2011 SBA 144. When swapping the seats and the hardware over to the black seat I noticed that the four holes on the 2010 seat do NOT have the same black rubber Grommett/Plugs as my 2011 SBA Assault seat does. Other than that everything matches up and the seat fits mint.
I am just concerned that w/out those rubber Grommetts (which are NOT easy to swap back and forth) that something on the seat will wear/rub against the gas tank it rests on.
I cannot find the part #s fo them on any Poo Microfiche and the dealer I spoke to saif if it's not on the Fiche it cannot be ordered?
Any thoughts/help?
