Anyone think that it's s coincidence that Polaris is releasing the 2017 sleds on Leap day????

From a marketing stand point I think that it would be a pretty good day to unveil a "game changer" or a "Leap Forward"

My top list of things I hope Polaris will release on Leap Day

1. A snowbike with more HP and a CVT clutch
2. A 4 stroke in the Axys chassis with a 570 or 925 engine
3. A 146" RMK/SKS to replace the Switchback Assault
4. A direct injected 600 based on the 140+ hp 13-16 600 IQR engine.

Put 3 & 4 in one sled and I'll be at my dealer on the 1st of March...

What else does everyone think is likely to be released?

BNG's with a few small refinements. I'm sure Cat will be releasing their snowbike this year but think Poo still has a way to go before they are ready. They don't currently sell a 2 wheeled dirt bike so they have quite a bit of R&D to due to bring a entire package together. The snowbike market is small so the profit there is going to be very slim. Part of the allure is that you can use it in the summer and winter, once you take that away the market gets even smaller.

Since Polaris owns Timbersled, I believe we'll see a resurrection of that partnership with KTM from a few years ago (though I freely admit I don't know the reason that ended). They've worked with KTM in the past...who's to say it won't happen again.
They like those Euro bikes. Maybe a Husky or a Beta relationship.
Probably not Beta, but one can dream.

MAYBE. Hard to say.

I suspect Pol will have refinements to the Axys.
They may shave a couple of el-bees. But not too much weight.

They may cave in and offer a longer track.

I'd like to see Polaris / Timbersled offer a KTM ready for kit installation at a reduced price. No front wheel, front brakes and no swingarm. I have no need for a 450 / 500 4-stroke bike other than as a snowbike.

My old kdx 200 does everything I want and my upgrade would be a Beta 300 xtrainer.
