Polaris Pro Billet Chain Case, '11, '12

Peak Performance will have billet chain cases for the 2011 and 2012 Pro 800 in about a week. (12-19-11). This chain case is a direct bolt-on/glue on replacement for the brittle factory casting and we've added extra material to the bottom of the case to resist rocks to make the billet case MUCH stronger than stock cast aluminum case. The stock magnesium cover can be used with the billet chain case or an optional billet cover is available. We will also have a bolt-on billet rock guard for the Pro and there will be pictures and more info posted on the Snowest forum and at peakdesignworks.com. as soon as they are available. I am putting the proto on my sled tonight and should have several rides and quite a few miles on it by Monday. We got snow finally! I dinged a rock (at 13 miles!) and found out just how brittle these cases are. And then I found out that the cases have been backordered for quite a while. We’ve been burning the midnight oil on this one and should be making the second batch starting Monday so if you have a need we will be shipping towards the end of next week (12-22-11 +/-) on a first order first shipped basis. The Billet chain case, without a cover will sell for $495.00 and we will have an adhesive kit for an additional $50.00 which will include 50 ml of Lords 406/19 adhesive, a dispenser that works in a standard calking gun and 4 nozzles. The cover is currently available from Polaris so the billet cover will come later. The easiest way to order will be through Paypal.
