Polaris Pistons or SPX for less than half the $??

ive rebuilt several motors with these pistons and had very good luck. I would not hesitate to buy them again.

Do a search, there has been lots of discussion on the SPIs vrs other pistons.

I did the top end on my 800ves with spi because they were cheap and at 8000 miles I figured the crank would be going before I had any problem with pistons. 5000 miles later and it runs just fine and the crank is still intact. I would buy them again......

I installed a set this fall and so far so good. Just keep in mind that the SPI pistons require ring installation and you need to check ring gaps before installing so if you don't know how to do this get educated before you dig in. Fortunately all my gaps were on the money and required no modification but you have to check them.
