Polaris now # 3 in sales.

They did it to themselves, I have owned Polaris forever and I am seriously considering an M8 or even the new XP. At this point, I don't know what to do.

Where do you find those figures on sled sales? Does it break it down for each model, etc. ? I'd really be interested in seeing these figures....

yeah i would have to say its 600 and 700 sales are basicly whats saving them right now and maybe the assaults

Amen to that. I'm still riding the Edge chasis with a Boss seat since I've hated with a passion the later chasises. I like Polaris since it's always what I've rode, but when I get tired of rebuilding edge chasis sleds I'm not sure I'm going to move up to the IQ.

So you are basically saying that the Dragon 800's are not selling but the Assaults are? C'mon, where did you come up with that?

Is this overall sales or just mountain sleds?? If its just mountain sleds I take it Cat moved up to #2??

I love the chassis, but I could very easily go to the M as well.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Polaris in the next couple years in regards to sled sales....

Yeah, I'll second that again, what is the source? I certainly believe it, I'm just very interested in what the sales are for all the sleds. Does anyone know where one can find this information ?

What I just did. The 10 M8 can pull things my Dragon could only dream of doing. Not to mention it's pulling proper rpms everywhere. I like the PC better than the 5.1 for different snow conditions.

While I will miss the IQ chassis' ease of boondocking, the M can do just as well. Just takes different rider input.

The new Pro RMK looks great, but I just couldn't put myself through the Polaris ringers again and take a chance on a first year engine/chassis...

Ride the IQ more than once and you will not say that

I owned a wedge hood than an edge now an IQ (900 RMK i know everyone hates them but come ride with me in the trees and you will learn to love it) Im a little guy 5'9" 135 and the iq handles like a dream compared to the fat fronted old chassis. You won't be nearly as wore out after a day on the iq chassis.

And maybe im lucky but I have never had any problems with my iq never even blown a belt and still running strong!

I think there will be a surge in their sales. It will be a lot like the XP sales. Probably not as much, but there will be a lot of those sleds on the snow in the next few years. Then someone else will make a big change.

I agree their will be alot of them on the snow then someone else will come out with something new and everyone will have to try it. Im glad they are still all working on making them better

For all of us , I hope they get it right this time.

It will take the die hard Poo lover to test the new waters. They have tried a few new ideas since they went to A-arms, and they failed. Maybe this time.

grew up on Polaris also

Bought new mostly and a coupled used ones that I'm satisfied to have owned. Still have 2 600RMK's and love them. But it just so happened I wanted to give an XP Summit a try so I did. This chassis will take time to get used to and try to let it perform as easily in the powder as my IQ Raw RMK's do. I mainly bought it for the famed Doo fuel economy, so far it shows.
See what happens in a month if I keep it or sell it. Or maybe it goes to one of my boys. :face-icon-small-sho

I to had a 2006rmk900 has a bad rap but rode 2 years with no problems ran great. Bought a 2008 xp summit x brand new first trip in dec to Cooke City did not even make into town with 6.5 miles on motor crank bearing went out. Next trip to Togwogtee could not get rpms and run like sh$t. Never had a trouble free trip that year.Bought a 09 dragon 800 installed slp pipe, can, airbox and reeds, Yes there have been reflashes and 2 ring pistons and heads put on due to updates but the sled runs very strong and after 2 seasons and 8 trips to the mountians has never let me down. So far polaris has been very fair to me while they are trying to fix their problems.I have no reservations on sno checking the PRO 800.:face-icon-small-hap
