Well I guess it is warrantied now.
or you could just have told your buddy to be alittle easy on it and not ditch bang until the FACTORY provided collar was put on

Ya I didn't see the update or driveshaft fix that Polaris is paying for and asking all owners to have installed before they ride there sleds. Your right its all Polaris fault.

I havent had my driveshaft go yet, but i dont ride it like a trail sled either
if it does break....yeah im gonna be mad I spent the amount of money i did on a sled with a chinsy driveshaft...but there are bullitins out about it, and a factory provided fix

I always love reading these posts. Let the haters hate. Mine has 527 miles of flatland abuse with no collar, no broken belt and no breakage that wasn't rider error

You say hater ! I laugh. FYI my best friend was riding this bucket of bolts when the driveshaft was ejected from the vehicle. His friend spent good money on a machine that was supposed to do what it was advertised to do. It didnt !
Big company like Polaris basically tells him dont bother us until you have a problem. 1000 dollar heli ride later Polaris customers gets a fix. So now he gets told this is the way it is.

I was looking at getting a new sled and it is threads like this that help make the decision much easier. Its also good people post up these failures to make others realize the size of this issue.
