polaris hyvo gears in a mountain cat?

Here are the Western Power Sports (WPS) HYVO part numbers:
19 tooth: 31-01019 -- Retail price was: 34.99
20 tooth: 31-01020 -- Retail price was: 34.99
43 tooth: 31-01043 -- Retail price was: 49.99
72 pitch chain: 44-4450 -- Retail price was: 84.99

The above info was copied from the old forum. I put hyvo's in my 04 kk last year using these part numbers...cant remember if I did a 20 top gear or a 19...pretty sure I went 19. No problems yet. If you look at the stock bottom gear, it is pretty obvious why there are problems....not the best place to try to save rotating mass.

Here are the stock kk gears. I don't have a pic of the hyvo bottom gear, but it only has a few small holes in it to remove some mass.
There was a lot of talk on the old forum about running different combinations of gear and chain widths. But several people chimed in and said they had also failed going that route. Hyvo's seemed to be the way to go.
