2011 Pro injectors are backordered. Please call me if you have any on hand and can overnight.

thanks

I heard a rumor somewhere here on Snowest that you can use 2012 injectors WITH a adapter harness from Polaris?
I have no idea if this is true though, this could just be snowest rubish, but if I was in your shoes it might be something to look into.

Heard Kurt's Polaris in Seeley Lake had a way to use the 12 injectors in an 11. Need a spacer or something like that. I believe SLP has done it also from what I was told. Just in case you can't find any. You need to find out what color you have too.

Got a set of updated injectors being overnight from tri-city.
They have 1 set left, and Carls has 1 set.
They are on backorder as of now.

From what I'm told, the update converts all injectors to yellow which requires a new flash if you have blue or green injectors.

Just to clarify: So does that mean that you are using 2012 injectors or they are
updated 2011's?

i dont know if my sled is weird or not, im on my third set of injectors, doesnt make sense to me, did they really update them or the they just keep throwing junk ones back in it.. once i run out of warranty its going to get ridiculous

To clarify
2012 injectors will not work.
2011 injectors were 3 different colors each with their own part number.

Now a new part number supersedes the 3 part numbers and if you currently have blue or green you need to flash to yellow.

I wanted to mention that Tripple S was who got on the dealer network and found the injectors for me at another dealer. Once again this dealer has gone above and beyond for me.

why are you buying new ones? I am having the similar issue with my 2011 but decided to have the injectors cleaned and flow tested. Before they were cleaned they had a flow rate of 58 with a very bad spray pattern. After cleaning they flowed 61 and the spray pattern was back to normal. They also tested the OHMS and Voltage drop which was all fine. Anyhow, cost me a total of $40 for both injectors. I am hoping this will fix it for me along with a new fuel filter.

Quick question, what is involved in reflashing the ecu if you need new ones?
Is this job only for a dealer?

You got to take it to the dealer for a reflash. This means (for you and I anyway) hauling it to Sacramento, or Utah.
I talked to the local dealer here in town and mentioned the injector problem. Their reply was they hadn't heard of any injector problems. My gut immediatly told me to exit the store, but I left my sled anyway. 5 or 6 days had passed and they still hadn't looked at the sled so I went and picked it up, ordered the injectors from tri-city, and will have it running this afternoon.

It's too bad that these newer sleds need local dealer support as I love the Pro but the Reno dealers suck. The Cat dealer in Lake Tahoe is awsome (and a close friend of mine), but who wants to jump back onto an inferior machine.

That means if I do have this problem I'm going to be totally screwed as the sleds going to be in Australia with no dealers. Maybe I better change them out now while the sled is still in Tahoe.

I've heard good things about Sierra Sports and Marine in Reno and Thin Air. You might have already tried them though.

Thin air is closed. Read the above mentioned and you have the story with sierra sport marine.

I had a really bad bog to the point it would almost throw me over the bars. After having injectors cleaned and a new fuel filter my bog was cured. I would recommend cleaning the injectors first before replacing them. I'm pretty sure I got some bad gas which caused my problem.

Dmknr, maybe get your old injectors cleaned so that you have a back up set.
