Polaris 800 RMK Update

Hey guys this is Tanner at Hal's Equipment in Ketchikan Alaska, your southeast Alaskan Polaris dealer, I just wanted to let everyone know I talked to Polaris this morning about the fix kit for the 08' - 09' Dragons and RMKs and Polaris states that the kit is still a couple weeks from being released. They have them in stock but have not been authorized to release them yet. I do not yet know exactly what the kit fully includes. The projected release date of 8-17-2009 did not make deadline, thus being why I just wanted to let all you curious sled heads know what I know, as a dealer.

Thanks for the info Tanner, why polaris wont be more forth coming with their customers I dont know..it would go along way toward happy customers....

Ya I here ya. That is why I wanted to put in my words to the consumer. Thats what I am for is to be the middle man between you and Polaris. It was been infortunate to ever have these problems but I can assure you that they are taking every measure to get it out asap. I do know that the kit was done in the spring but have been waiting for emissions. and now it has passed emissions and am just waiting to get my hands on them. I have 18 Dragons to do as soon as their ready. - Thanks again Tanner

As a fellow Alaskan and polaris 800 rider. Thank you for the information i can't even get that much out of my dealer i have trusted for years. I dont blame Polaris at all its just one minor set back in an awsome motor and greater chasis and love that they are working hard on a way to fix it. I have always riden a Polaris and that will never change. The only complaint i have is the dealer not being straight up with me i have had to get all my info from ruhmors on here. But, Again thank you for the heads up.
