Polaris 120

How much would you guys give a for a little polaris 120 5+ years old. It is only used by the owner maybe 1 time a year at christmas other than that it collects dust.

I'm not realy sure what they are worth, but with that little use, it should bring about $500 I would think.

I would've guessed twice that, around $1,000. I sold a '99 Ski-doo 120 a year ago for $800.

Here is the story, the sled is my cousins and I found today he was selling his sled (02 summit 700). Not to long ago he sold off his fourwheeler as well. He recently got divorved and we all thought that he is selling his toys to pay off the ex-wife.

We were going to buy his 120 and keep around for my little one, so I thought I'd post on here and see how much to offer for it. Well it turns out that when they bought the summit it was in his ex-wife's name and she turned around and sold it out from underneath him for about half of what is worth. The impression I get is that he not going to sell his 120. I feel for him, he should have been smart enough to put the sled in his name.

used 120's generally go for 1500...especially if they are in pristine shape...which is amazing since they retail for $2k but they hold their value VERY well!!!!
