After watching my son ride for hours today I came to the conclusion that it is time to soup that baby up. I have absolutely no idea as to what I can do to it.

Do any of you that have done it have any suggestions?

Its all about how much money you want to spend. The first thing I would do is put on a rear shock so it isn't like riding a pogo stick around, then I would work on more power. If you hit the 'Youth 120' section on this site, its under snowmobiles and then Other, you should find all the info you are looking for. Good Luck

Yeah, I noticed that today with the rear. Looking for a small shock to go in there. Thanks for the tips, I had no idea there was a 120 section here.

re gear and clutch , double the speed

ok, where might I find these parts? Pretty sure I can figure out how to do it but they aren't standard parts that a dealer has and most have no clue on what I would need. right now he is a little over 4' tall and hovering around 60 pounds.

I have what you need on ours.

Shaved head.
Crankshop pipe.
Flipped jackshaft.
Comet clutch and belt drive.
Aftermarket Carb.

It packs the skis...with me on it. :)

Runs between 15 and 20mph depending on the snow conditions.

I've got some....and a vid. I'll get them up when I have some time to sit down and upload them.

Looks like photobucket is slappin me around a bit. Give it a couple days and they will let you see them again.

Pretty sure www.denniskirk.com has a mini sled section with gears etc...
