Parting out an 05-900
Sled still runs like a raped ape. SLP performance kit on the motor with approx. 2700 miles on it. When the motor was done, Cranky Joe in Spokane WA updated the crank with 'doo bearings, bigger and beefier.
Compression test this winter at 2300 feet was 125psi both cylinders and crank run out was right in the middle of spec.
New this year: 163 track and drivers, clutch spring, exhaust valve springs, bellows, Y pipe gasket, new coil over springs on front shocks, new bearings on drive shaft.
The track alone was an unbelievable performance enhancer.
I would really hate to part her out, that would be kinda like having to operate on your own kid but she definitely has to go.
