PMI wheel kit

I was not happy with the wheel kit that I purchased for my snowbike. A friend and I came up with this kit design.
The problem that I had was that there were to many pieces to disassemble/assemble. It works, has a really nice looking tire/wheel assembly, it is not user friendly.

1) wheel/axel assembly
2) spacer
3) wheel with floating spacer between bearings
4) bolt to hold it all together.

My kit has one piece and is installed in one clean motion

1) axel assembly

Lift the front of the ski, roll the axel under the spindle hooks, rotate handle 90 degrees. Done. Axel locked on for transport.

I have not given it the drop out of the back of a truck test, I don't think it is a test that is nessarry. Does anyone actually do that? It must be quite violent on the bike.

I have enough parts to make 6 more complete kits

I I can't seem to figure out how to rotate the pics straight. I could use a tip on that.

Looks sweet. Are there bigger wheels that will fit for riding over gravel/dirt roads in the spring?

I have found that when I post pictures with my iPhone, if I edit them in some way first then they will post with orientation correct. I usually just crop the photo slightly and then it works for some reason.

I actually yank my bike out of the back of my truck all the time. With two people, one person holds the ski straight for the final pull and it comes right out super easy. I don't use a wheel kit though. A 2-3 foot drop on the front forks is nothing.

The wheels are a std wheelbarrow wheel and hold the Center skag about an inch off the ground. Similar to the yeti kit. A few of the nice features of the wheel is the low cost compared to a spoked mini bike wheel, and also the tread dept is very shallow so when loading into a trailer it doesn't carry in a lot of snow to step into while getting your boots on. Just a little thing that I noticed.

I have driven with these wheels on and they work well and have no problem rolling over rough ground. ( the wheel/tire diameter is about the same as the yeti )

I have been selling these kits locally in northern BC for $350 cad, painted to match.
