I mounted my tank under trailer took it over to local propane dealer to have them plumb a remote fill. They wont do it, said tank cant hang below frame. ?? They dont make a tank that will fit in the ribs of a trailer. so can some one post pics. of how they have theres plumbed. I'm not sure of the bleeder part. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have not bothered to use one as the local propane fill place just lets me scoot under the trailer and get-er-done. but it looked rather easy install but I do believe you have to remove the bleed vent valve which means the tank has to be empty, or will be after you remove valve...hehe. thats what I took from a conversation i had with an rv coach mechanic one day.

Talked to a fellow sleder that had one on his trailer. $80.00 for the hoses & conections,to get it done alot better than the $180.00 i've read on here.Thanks

well how pointing me in that direction where to source the fittings. because when i looked before when I put the tank in, the one big fitting alone was $60~$70 and hose was around $4.50~$5.00 per foot. By the time I piecemeal the stuff together it was damn near the kit price and no mount.

I went to my local propane dealer told him what I wanted. He made it up while I waited. The high pressure to fill & one for the bleeder. I had some flat metal & made my own brackets.Went down to machine shop had them drill a hole for the fill nozzle. the part that was expensive was the two stage reg.when I get it done I;ll post some pics.

so tank is mounted line plumbed to out side of trailer. after all reciepts added up $95.48 to do it. left is bleeder right is fill
