Im trying to tune my M7 with RKT 800 and d&d twins. I have it dialed in to where the egts look good and it just plain rips, but i dont really care about egts im worried about plug color. Ive added a ton of fuel to where it bogged in mid and high rpms then leaned it out to where there was no bog but my plugs stay the same greyish color and im not too thrilled about that!!! wtf is the problem?????

piston wash

Get ahold of RK tek and ask him what he wants for piston wash.It may depend on bore cylinder head etc,but about a pinky thumb nail is the rule.BUT RK would be able to tell you more.

1) I fyou are running a synthethic oil.. then you will get ZERO info from plug color.

2) Even if you are running a mineral based oil..like you should be, the plug color only tells you the color your oil burns.. It is really not a very good indicator of the F/A ratio...

Tune it until it runs the best and then ride it..
