I think one thing we both have in both countries is liberal parties and liberal lazy-a$$es who think everything should be handed to everyone and money grows on trees. We've gone through our share of liberal governments over the decades and they always run the deficit deeper into the red. The biggest difference between our countries is the numbers. Because the USA has 10X our population, the effects of the liberal follies will be felt 10 fold. Hang on me brothas....we're here for you.
If you think health care is cheap here, you need to pull your head out of the sand. Take your current income and figure out your taxes in a bordering US state and tell me our health care is cheap.
Sorry I'm singling you out, but that kind of lefty thinking drives me nuts.

Also...don't forget where you were. Seattle= left coast= 2 female senators+ 1 female governor +mayor McCheese (Goobye Supersonics!) and even a female Sheriff. AND the people who voted them all in. The rest of the state gets very little say. Tree huggin, leaf lickin, wilderness lovin' idiots

Sorry if you took my words the wrong way. I probably should have worded it different but I'm certainly not calling all Americans "ignorant". I know very well we have just as many "Ignorant", "banjo pluckin" canucks up our way as well. I probably should have used the word "misinformed". Not trying to Pi$$ anyone off. Honest!

I pay $500 a month for crap insurance thru Blue Cross... I don't call that cheap at all.
We pay way more personal income tax and can't write off our mortgage interest. I also have to carry a Blue Cross type policy for prescription drugs, dental and eyecare, not to mention a disability and critical illness policy. I guarantee I can get all that for less bundled together. Do the math on what you save on the tax portions, figure in not waiting forever for access to a specialist and surgery. You ARE further ahead.
You better be VERY afraid if BO tries to model his socialist health care plan after Canada's.
Is Canada a casino?---That's freakin'hillarious!!! I see the same people 3 or more times a week (every week) to go to the casino. Not to mention the "holidays" to vegas,reno you name it. Oh yeah, Ifor got to mention the multitude of grey haired tour bussed heading to NV.

It's sorta funny but also sorta disturbing how some Americans believe we Canadians live. I was recently down in Seattle for a Mariners vs: Jays game and in discussion with a couple of Americans I got such a charge out of how they believe we live in Igloos, crap through a hole in the ice, get around everywhere by dog sled and snowmobile, some of our currency is made of wood....etc, etc. They couldn't believe it was 100* in the Summer where I live, that we water ski and wake board, have beautiful vineyards and grow tons of variations of fruit. I'm not making fun, but enlighten me here and share some of the...or perhaps some of "your" beliefs about the Canadian lifestyle. Be honest!

He ll I love Canada!!!! If this Obama sh!t doesnt end soon Im thinking of moving there. Awesome fishing and hunting and less crowded kinda like the great state of Idaho i already live in. I dont think it would be much of a jump for me. Any of you canucks have an extra room for me?
