PLease Tell Me Not All Americans Are This Ignorant About Canada??

I've had the same questions asked about Alaska. It's kinda fun sometimes to see how far you can push the story until they stop believing. I've told people I live in a Igloo, have to hunt for food because there are no stores nearby, go to work by dog team, Even had one douche believing I have a pet polar bear. Lol

Is Engrish yo secund rangrage? And holy run-on batman...

Oh and to blaspheme the people of two entire countries because you failed to relate to the few individuals you met on your tiny trip. You may reconsider unto whom the "stupidity and ignorance" shall apply.

.

Few? I have never met an american that actually knew anything about Canada. Out of dozons of times. It is suprising if they know it is a country. Yea it's one run on sentence, wow. I am just dumbfounded at most Americans, excuse me

Well, from where I live, the Canadians around here couldn't function if they couldn't come down here and get gas, cheese, milk, eggs and beer. They just about come unglued when they find out that the local gas station is closed for an American holiday.

That brings up a good point. Why is everything....except health care, so much cheaper in the US than Canada? US = $18.00 for 18 pack of beer. Canada = $25.00 for 18 beer (WTF)

Because your government Taxes the holy living chit out of every portion of your lives to pay for your one payor health care system. Thats one reason why we do not want that here.

High taxes on business require the owners to increase the price of the products so that they can stay in busniess.

It's not only Canada, when I was in California some dbags asked me what coast South Dakota was on. ;) ;)
Internet? Heck when did you get electricity?

It's sorta funny but also sorta disturbing how some Americans believe we Canadians live. I was recently down in Seattle for a Mariners vs: Jays game and in discussion with a couple of Americans I got such a charge out of how they believe we live in Igloos, crap through a hole in the ice, get around everywhere by dog sled and snowmobile, some of our currency is made of wood....etc, etc. They couldn't believe it was 100* in the Summer where I live, that we water ski and wake board, have beautiful vineyards and grow tons of variations of fruit. I'm not making fun, but enlighten me here and share some of the...or perhaps some of "your" beliefs about the Canadian lifestyle. Be honest! :beer;

I can't believe you have the nerve to come on here and call Americans ignorant when you know nothing about your own country. Everything above is 100% true, you are just to ignorant to look around!
Oh ya - and all Canadians are gay!:D

theres dumb folks all around, i have lived in various places across the US that are not city like at all and have met MORE then my fair share of folks who couldnt locate 10 of the 50 state, and canada? wheres that?

its americas with a college education, think they know everything but still can be this dumb, and you wonder why we complain about obama. these are the folks who vote now!

When I went down to Vernal Utah to work the guys on the drilling rig were shocked that I didnt speak french and sounded just like them. Also we had drivin up to Vernal from Casper and those guys had to be explained to how Albertans and Wyomins are alot alike other than we cant carry handguns on the seat of our trucks. It was a great time and met alot of fun people and drank alot of booze.

I agree some of the things we think about Alaska are pretty bazaar. It can work both ways though.

I was working with some Native fire fighters up on the Innoko River the second week of August one year. The temperature had started to cool off at night by then. One morning it was 50 degrees F. The Hooper Bay crew was huddled by the fire and commenting that it was a little chilly out. I said, "I thought you Alaskans were used to the cold." One replied, "Not in the summer". I told them that where I lived in central Oregon we couldn't grow a garden because it could freeze any night of the year. They couldn't believe it.

WHAT?!?! We do live in igloos and crap through a hole in the ice...
shhhhhhhhhhhhhh:D

Nah, thats what ice fishermen do in the winter months, here in Minnesota. LOL.

I attended a technical seminar in Dallas, TX a few years ago, and some Texans couldn't believe we have temps in 80's, 90's, and (rare) 100*. Or that we didn't shovel snow year 'round.

Its been my experience that Canada and canadians are pretty much just like us except for the Eh' thing which is just funny IMO. Its a beautiful country and is as diverse in its land scapes as the US is. I can t believe that the dumbass is isolated to americans though you must have plenty of them up north as well. It never ceases to amaze me how many people make comments like " WOW your english is really good for somene from New Mexico" I have even been asked if I speak english ! WTF! Its one of the states idiots!

This kind of chit is whats wrong with this country! These people Vote ! and breed! I bet thats Canadas bigest problem as well!

Hell KFD, most Americans who live on either coast think the same way of those of us who live in 'flyover' country. Just the typical lazy and uninformed person that gives most of us in this country a bad name.

And you are correct about us relying on you. We no longer allow most of our own natural resources to be developed, therby relying on imports. Since you are a good neighbor with tons of natural resources and the balls to tell the enviros to shut up and sit down, that means you are in the drivers seat in this regard.

do you ever get your balls stuck to the ice when crapping?:D

LOL^^^^^^^^^^^^^:D

Truth is I think Canada is a beautiful place and would actually move there if my family was not so rooted here. But NOT all Canadians are the nicest peeps..I have spent quite alot of time vacationing and traveling across Canada and found Quebec people to be major Eh-holes. The French over there are just dammmmm right rude.
