Please Pray for 2 of our own lost today in GL

I just found out that 2 of our own perished today in an avalanch in Grand Lake. I dont have any details except for what is on 9 news and what i have been told. I do know that one has hit close to home working for my fire dept. Please keep family and friends in your prayers and stay safe.

was riding blue ridge in GL today. i know this is likely too detailed...but was there Avy gear involved, beacons, etc.?

I am not sure if he had avy gear on or not. I have not had a chance to ride with him yet and not sure if he or any of his peeps had any gear. I am sure i will know soon and post.

I ride GL ever year and know a few local guys. I'd sure like to know who got caught in the avy. Very sad.

I heard of 3 avy deaths in Utah also. Can't help but think that the friends and families will have to remember this every Christmas.
