Does anyone recognize this? Possibly from a snowmobile crate? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No idea of the size or material from you photo??

Maybe put a penny/quater/dollar next to it??

It looks like the hook that is used to hold the rear suspension compressed from the factory when shipping a new unit. It looks like one hook end is broken off.

Looks like a U bolt for a leaf spring pack for a rear axle of a pick up that broke off............lol. How big is it? Also, since it sounds like you got a sled it is what you are getting for Christmas......... Cherish it my friend.:face-icon-small-win

It is indeed one of the hooks that compresses the rear suspension. I found it after it flew out of the skid frame area. They had cut it while compressed so you can tell it stretched and snapped at the point of no return.
