Hey everyone!

Need a little assistance finding a car that took out my fence some time Thursday and then left. They left a few parts (and some paint) behind to help me find them. Using the parts I was able to track down the year/make/model/color of the car on the net.

The car is a 2008 Subaru impreza like the one in the pictures below (same color and everything).

This happend in Sandy, UT near 10300 S. and 700 E., so anyone in Sandy and the surrounding areas please be on the lookout for this car. The damage on the car will most likely be on the front end and drivers side. It's missing the little cover on the bumper that I have circled in red and also the section of the license plate frame that I have circled in red. It's also obviously going to be missing some paint. If you see a car matching this description, please get the license plate number, and if at all possible a picture of the front of the car (I know that's a stretch).

Thanks!

OK, I got to see this. Show us a picture of the pieces you used to determine all of this. I'm just amazed, and curious, that's all.

Did the license plate bezel, have a dealers name on it?

Here's the picture of the evidence.

I wish it would have had a dealer's name. That could really narrow it down!

Well, you did pretty good with that little. He'll have to go to a subaru dealer, to get a quote. Wonder if you could get carfax to search their database for a recently fixed white sub'y??? In a couple weeks. Cool.

I was thinking about going down to the local body shops and having them call me if anyone brings in a 2008 Impreza with front end damage. But now that you mention it, I think going to the dealers would be a better option since they're gonna have to order the parts from them anyway, and there are less of them than there are body shops.

Good work! I would go around to every local body shop and let them know what happened and ask them to call if someone/car like that comes in.....of course not all body shops are honest, but ya gotta do it....and of course file your police report if you haven't.
